Target audience: All professionals working for and with children in Switzerland. E.g.: judges, lawyers active in the field of family law and juvenile criminal law, social workers and police, social educators, teachers, health personnel, migration specialists and anyone who is interested in children's rights.

Objectives:

- To develop skills to deal with difficult situations with a child rights-based approach taking into account the economic and socio-cultural context.

 

- To develop critical reflection on one's own practice, ethics and professional duties and to strengthen working methods.

 

- To acquire interdisciplinary, scientifically based theoretical and practical knowledge of children's rights in the fields of law, sociology, pedagogy, psychology, social work, education, public health, ethics.

Target audience: professionals working with and for children or involved in the defence of children's rights in the Horn of Africa

Objectives:

- Participants adapt their professional practices to better respect and protect children's rights;

- Participants form a learning community, where they exchange information and support each other, analyse their experience and share good practice.
