It was in response to the reports of the Committee on the Rights of the Child that continuing education certificates or “Certificates of Advanced Studies” (CAS) were initiated back in 2017. These reports called for university training in children’s rights for professionals. In response to these recommendations, CAS were set up in French-speaking Africa and Latin America. <\/p>\n
Various regional MOOCs have also been produced by the International Institute for the Rights of the Child, such as the MOOC.ch tailored to Swiss professionals, which will begin in January 2024.<\/p>\n
