The IDE notes the lack of national laws in the signatory countries of the Convention, and encourages the codification of children's rights through its expert advice. 

DATA COLLECTION
AS AN INDICATOR OF RIGHTS

The IDE is committed with its partners to collect and analyze data covering the fields of the Convention, in order to be used for the implementation of projects aiming at guaranteeing the effective application of children's rights.  

TEACHING MATERIAL

As every year, on the occasion of the 20th of November, the day of the celebration of the Convention on the Rights
of the Child, IDE offers its teaching materials to teachers and students to address the rights of the child. The
activities are aimed at the 3 cycles of compulsory schooling in Switzerland and address a different theme each year.
They are available in French, German, Italian and since 2020 in Romansh.
